Automatic jitter compensation

When establishing the connection between two locations, the actual quality of the connection is usually not known. It may be that the selected bit rate and packet size at the encoder as well as the decoder buffer settings do not match the quality of the line.

With the automatic jitter compensation, AJC, the parameters packet size, bit rate and also size of the decoder buffers are adjusted one by one in order to optimize the parameterization for the current connection and thus to maximize the audio quality.
